Sıkça Sorulan Sorular

The Civil Voices Festival, which will bring together civil society organizations and activists from across Türkiye working in diverse areas such as environmental rights, disability rights, child rights, the right to the city, youth rights, and animal rights, will be held on 30 September – 1 October 2022 at TED University in Ankara.
The Civil Voices Festival will bring together civil society actors from Türkiye and around the world. Civil society organizations working in different cities and across various rights-based fields will take part. Our guests will also include representatives of international civil society organizations, experts, academics, donor organization representatives, and local authorities.
This year, our guests will enjoy forums on various themes, interactive games, experience-sharing workshops, and creative performances. Throughout the two days, many civil society organizations will also take part in the festival with their own stands.
The festival in Ankara will be open to all actors in civil society. Those who wish to attend can join the festival and follow the events with their own means.
At the Civil Voices Festival, organized to amplify the voices of civil society organizations from across Türkiye and support their visibility, CSOs can take part with the non-commercial work they wish to share — such as stands, workshops, exhibitions, or events.
Civil society organizations wishing to join the festival from outside Ankara must submit their requests for transportation and/or accommodation support by filling out the application form no later than Sunday, August 25, 6:00 PM. Travel and/or accommodation expenses of CSO representatives whose applications are accepted will be covered by STGM.
- Festival participants will stay in double rooms. However, those who prefer to stay alone will need to cover the additional cost themselves, subject to hotel availability.
- No transportation or accommodation support will be provided for participants coming from Ankara city center or nearby districts. For other provinces within a 500 km distance to Ankara, only train or bus transportation will be supported.
- Accommodation support will cover two nights (September 29 and 30), with check-out on October 1, in double rooms.
- Special needs for transportation and accommodation will be considered separately. If your application is accepted, you will later be asked to provide details regarding your specific needs.
Of course not! The Civil Voices Festival is open to everyone without the need for an application! Applications are required only for those who wish to set up a stand or request transportation and accommodation support.
At the festival, where we will raise our voices together for a better world and remind ourselves once again that we stand side by side, you can freely and free of charge join any event you wish.
The festival site is accessible for disabled participants and guests. All events taking place over the two days will be organised to meet the needs of disabled participants within the means available.
